According to a 2003 National Institute of Justice report, three out of four adolescents who have been sexually assaulted were victimized by someone they knew well. There is no “right” reaction to hearing that your child has been abused. You may experience a range of reactions and feelings that impact different aspects of your life. Join us at CRSH with Tisha Berg, Clinical Intern, for an open and honest discussion on over-coming and preventing sexual abuse in family systems. We will discuss coping mechanisms, signs to look out for and how victims try to avoid feelings of shame. The talk is FREE to attend. Register at http://bit.ly/2Jpaubr We will offer light snacks and refreshments. CRSH will be live streaming the event on Facebook for those who cannot attend in person.
